EXHIBITS: SHOWING YOUR WORK (Compulsory)
- Your exhibit will show visitors to the Expo what your project was about. It is a display of your work.
- An exhibit is usually made up of a poster together with any special apparatus you used. Keep the information on your display short, easy to understand and interesting.
- People who know nothing about your topic should understand what you did, just by looking at your exhibit!
- Your report is also part of your exhibit, so that people can read more about your project.
- IMPORTANT….THERE ARE TO BE NO GRAMMAR OR SPELLING MISTAKES!!!
- Each exhibit at the Expo is given space on a desk of approximately 1,8m x 0,6m.
- NOTE! You MUST use a table cloth, touching the floor on the sides and front. Bring more than one table cloth to set up and remember to bring pins for it.
- You may use a project board/pin board (available at CNA/Waltons) in order to create a place to pin information on. You may also close the area off with a wooden divider or a proper standing divider between your project and the exhibits behind and next to you. IMPORTANT! The back of you display board must be neatly finished off so that it is acceptable for the projects next and behind you.
- Look at the drawing below to see how to make most of the space available.
- If you make your poster with three sides you will be able to display more information.
- Gr.8-11: Your presentation must be completed and copied to a USB. An exact copy of you DVD as well as the cover must be handed in to your teacher before the EXPO. ENSURE that it is in working order and compatible with windows.
