Dear Parents
QUARTER 1: CIRCULAR 5
Please take note of the following important matters:
1. ARRANGEMENTS – TUESDAY, 28 MARCH 2017
- As result of an educators’ training session on Tuesday, 29 March, the school will close at 12:40, as the training will commence at 13:00.
- Please take note that learners will pack their books according to the Day 6 timetable, no lessons will fall away.
2. PAPER 3 – LANGUAGES
- You are reminded that the learners will write Paper 3 of both languages for the June examination next Thursday and Friday:
- Thursday, 30 March: English Home Language and English First Additional Language.
- Learners will follow the normal Day 8 timetable after the examination session.
- Friday, 31 March: Afrikaans Home Language and Afrikaans First Additional Language
- There will only be an examination session. The school will close at 11:30 for the first quarter.
- PLEASE TAKE NOTE: these are two examination sessions. It is therefore compulsory for your child to be at school. Should your child be absent, a doctor’s letter WILL have to be handed in.
- NO alternative arrangements can be made to accommodate your child should you want to go on holiday before the time.
- Thursday, 30 March: English Home Language and English First Additional Language.
3. QUARTER 1 – PROGRESS REPORTS
- Progress reports will be e-mailed to you on Friday, 31 March.
- Please make sure that the school has your correct e-mail address.
- Should you not have an e-mail address, please request a print out of the report in writing by Wednesday, 29 March. This request must please be handed in to Mrs. Antoinette Kuperus. You will be able to fetch the printed report at Reception of Friday, 31 March at 11:30.
4. COACHING CLINICS
- The first rugby team, first boys’ hockey team and girls’ hockey teams will attend coaching clinics during the school holiday.
- Please take note that your child will not be able to get onto the bus should the full amount not be paid into the school’s account. The school can under no circumstances carry the cost.
- We wish these teams a safe journey and we do hope that it will be a most enjoyable and fruitful coaching clinic.
5. PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEES
- Thank you very much to all parents who pay their school fees faithfully!
- Should you be behind with the payment of school fees, or should you experience financial difficulties, please contact the financial office without fail.
